Description:  Next CSX gets a turn at the Porter Diamind. A CSX "E" train from Michigan with a normal pair of BNSF engines hauls this emptry coal train south(west) for the last mile on the Porter Branch before curving off and going west on NS.

Description:  In attempt to try to catch an Amtrak coming off the Michigan Branch, I decided I had to stay on the wrong side of the tracks to photograph this NS 20N, hosting a singal BNSF GEVO. In reality I didnt have to, because the Amtrak didnt show up during this train.

Description:  We definitely wanted to try to catch a South Shore train today especially when we were this close to the line, well it didnt work out as planned. We didnt know that this road went over the top of the tracks and that the bridge was too narrow to park anywhere. My dad ended up not getting a photo and I didt get a great one either. Well, hopefully next weekend we get some better ones.

Description:  NS 8029 slowly leads NS 26T east around the bends outside of Hudson Lake. This would be the last train I would photograoh for the day. We ended up seeing an eastbound CP manifest and NS 200 after this. With a total of 29 trains on the day, were very pleased with how it went, and cant wait for next weekend!
