Viewing Album:  Sunday morning NB and SB autoracks pass at PTC, Ga

Album Info:An overcast Sunday morning on January 31, 2016 saw an SD50-2, SD40-2 pair waiting for NB clearance at PTC, Ga. When the sound of a horn blast echoed shortly after from nearby Tyrone, I asked my 10-year old daughter if she would like to take the camera. She excitedly agreed and captured the arrival of AC44CW 92 and ES40DC 5446 approaching the Wilkes Grove Church Rd grade crossing with a line of autoracks. The crewman of lead unit 92 gave a happy wave while passing as he saw this little lady taking pictures. Seems like she did very well! I took over once the engines had passed to capture some Conrail autoracks and the tail end of the train as it passed the waiting EMD's.
