Title:  CGW 10 - Chicago Great Western
Description:  Built by Alco-Dickson in August of 1907 was caught by photographer Basil W. Koob sitting idle in the Dodge, IA, yard. Originally built for Swift & Co, it was then sold to St Paul Bridge & Terminal as their #10. In 1934, Chicago Great Western purchased it for switcher duties out west. It met its fate when it was sold for scrap to Hyman-Michaels Co in December, 1948.

Title:  CGW 508 - Chicago Great Western
Description:  Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1910, this class E7 loco was caught heading up passenger service by photographer Howard Svendsen. Specifics - 73" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 26x28" cylinders, 206,000 lb engine weight, 39,671 lb tractive effort.
