CAGY 2777 |
Description: |
As odd as odd can be...for me. This view would not have been possible a little over a year ago. With G&W unfortunately now owning the Columbus & Greenville Railway along with the Alabama Gulf Coast Railroad, such insanity is now possible. The tracks arf those of the BNSF. The AGR has a local that works Columbus, MS and Aliceville, AL which is AGR 110. The job had been based out of Aliceville but perhaps due to the crude oil train derailment a few days before, AGR 110 got started in Columbus and todays power comes in the form of CAGY 2777. The "Triple Seven" is seen here at 2nd Ave Columbus passing the old BN shack heading for the Eka/Akzo Nobel plant at Whitbury, MS which is roughly 5 miles south of Columbus |
