Album Info:In 2006, West Point, GA was picked as the site for the new Kia Assembly plant to be built between I-85 and the CSX AWP-WofA tracks north of town. This album documents the process from the railroad perspective, and also notes a Kia supplier recieving several high wide loads including a Komatsu stamping press mill shipped on CSX from ocean-going vessel at the Port of Mobile, Alabama to the West Point, Georgia area in 2009.

Description:  CSX A746 runs around its train on Gabbetville Siding after setting out the coil cars on the KIA lead to the left. KIA supplier HYSCO began taking coil by rail in 2012 and the local has the job of bringing it up from Montgomery.
