Description:  This train stopped right here in front of me. I thought that was unusual since they had four grade crossings blocked in Cartersville. It turns out they pulled a drawbar in the train and blocked the crossing for almost two hours getting it out of the way. A shot of the car missing the drawbar and another shot of the missing drawbar follow.

Description:  This is the car that lost the drawbar. It didn't actually break. It seems that the pin that holds the drawbar in worked lose and fell out letting the drawbar come out. If it had only stopped about two car lengths sooner it wouldn't have blocked this crossing. Main Street would have still been blocked though.
