Album Info:Chasing the railroad that's closest to home for me... The "Cement Secondary" designation is because of multiple cement kilns that line the route, three of which are still active shippers. The track is ex-Lehigh and New England, and runs from Bethlehem, PA out through Bath, Nazareth, Stockertown, and then on to an Industrial Park in Forks Township north of Easton, PA.. There are usually five freight trains per week on this branch. Monday is outbound to Stockertown; Tuesday is return to Allentown yard. Wednesday and Thursday are another out to Stockertown and back the next day. Friday's freight is a turn - out and back the same day, but the Friday turn sometimes outlaws, and has to be reconciled on Saturday. The Cement Secondary is the longest stretch of remaining ex-L&NE track that's still in service.

Light engine move westbound through Nazareth
Title:  Light engine move westbound through Nazareth
Description:  The Cement Secondary job typically runs from Tatamy back to Allentown Yard on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Even through the engines are running light through Nazareth, they may well have other pick-ups to make further on down the railroad.
