Album Info:All models shown here are in HO scale and are products of my handy work. All of the Proto 2000 units shown here such as the GP9s, GP30s and GP20s had replacement Athern side frames added. With the latest GP30s P2K has done, Being the High Hood versions. P2K has made new more better looking side frames than their older models came with. All units are detailed with a mix of Details West, Details Assoitates and Overland detail parts. Also some that were modified such as MU cables.

NCCR 2103 & NCCR 2598
Title:  NCCR 2103 & NCCR 2598
Description:  NCCR 2103 is a Proto 2000 GP20 based on the former NYC/CR GP20s that were rare units. The only GP20s purchased by an eastern carrier. NCCR 2598 is a Kato GP35 based on the former ATSF GP35Us and replicates life after BNSF. As of my last check, BNSF 2598 was still on the active roster and not retired yet. Both units were factory painted but with weathering done to simulate faded and worn paint.

NCCR GP20/E420M 2103
Title:  NCCR GP20/E420M 2103
Description:  Among the last bit of upgrades in the appearance of this unit, I removed the MU holders on the pilot kick plate and replaced it with a strait peace in primer. This part was cut to fit from 0.020" sheet plastic and holes drilled to place the nut & bolt castings. I chose to replace this part as I was not happy with the space between the bottom of the pilot and the rail head. There was too much space between the bottom of the pilot and the rails with the previous part that was on the model. You can compare to other photos towards the beginning of this album.
