| Album Info: | Took NJT #5416 from Union to Newark Penn, then PATH to the new World Trade Center station to photograph the oculus. Walked the Dey St. connector to the Fulton station, shot that then got on the A Express for a transfer to the 1 at 168th St. to get to Marble Hill. Shot Amtrak Empire Service trains #236 & #233 with Harry & John. Left on the 1 for Grand Central using a transfer to the Times Square Shuttle to get to the Oyster Bar for lunch & a shot of the departure board. Left GCT on the 4 for Fordham Rd. Walked down the hill to the Metro North University Heights station to snap #235. Back to Fordham, back on the 4 to Bedford Park to shoot Redbirds, then back down the 4 to 125th St. for the afternoon parade including Amtrak #242 & #239. Took the 4 again to GCT ,Shuttle to Times Square to a waiting 3 train. Off to Penn Station, dash across the LIRR concourse, race down the stairs at track 2 for a waiting North Jersey Coast train for Newark Penn. Had enough time to take a wiz & shoot the head end of Raritan Valley train #5749 before boarding it to get back to Union. A 12 hour 26 minute adventure! |
